18-Year-Old Arrested on Murder Charge

Second Suspect, 16, Arrested

10/30/13: Investigators arrested a suspect from the Oct. 26 murder of Gregory Saunders. Police considered Raekwon Ny-Allah Mclean, 18, (photo at bottom, left) as armed and dangerous, and arrested him Oct. 30 for murder, two counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime.

Investigators also made an arrest earlier in the same case. Andre Christian Knox, 16, (photo at bottom, right) was arrested and charged with murder, two counts of attempted murder, armed robbery, and possession of a weapon during a violent crime. A 15-year-old was also arrested and charged with the same crimes.

On Oct. 26, 2013, the victim, Gregory Saunders, along with an acquaintance met with the suspect, Raekwon Ny-Allah Mclean, and co-defendants, for the purpose of purchasing marijuana. During the drug transaction, Mclean produced a handgun and robbed the victim, while shooting him with a firearm. The victim died of his injuries at the scene of the incident. View Warrant
