Joint Investigation: The Golden Hedge 

The Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, along with the Greenville Police Department has started an investigation into a business called, The Golden Hedge. The business was located at two different locations, one in the city and one in the county. The city location was at 591 Haywood Road and the county location was at 626 Congaree Road. Different complainants have come forward stating that they may have been a victim of breach of trust. The allegations were that items have been dropped off to be repaired or offered for sale under consignment and the business has since closed down in both locations, and the complainants have not been able to retrieve their items. This is an active investigation and we ask that if anyone thinks that they may be a victim of breach of trust, contact the number below that applies to them.

Auto Breaking/Fraud 

On Feb. 4, 2014, Greenville Police were contacted by a victim, who parked her vehicle at the parking lot outside of Macy’s at 700 Haywood Rd. The victim’s vehicle was broken into and her credit cards were used in excess of $1000. The photos with the female were taken from Macy’s and the photo with the males in them were taken from Jimmy Johns near the mall. The female appears to be a Hispanic or Black Female. Robbery Suspect Sought 

Greenville Police are looking for information about a suspect from a Jan. 23 robbery at a Spinx service station located at 3000 Augusta Street. The incident occurred at about 10:10 pm. The suspect is described as a B/M, 5’4” to 5’5”, 120 to 130 lbs and 20 to 30 years of age. Woman Sought for Armed Robbery at Citgo 

On 12/27/13 at 10:57 PM, a heavy-set Black Female, age 40-50, entered the Citgo Store at 1301 S. Pleasantburg Drive with a handgun.  The subject, seen in photo at far right, robbed the store of the money from the cash register. The subject was wearing something covering her face and gloves. Earlier in the evening, at approximately 7:40 PM, a female and a male entered the store, as shown in three photos from left, and the clerk believes the female that entered the store at 7:40 PM is possibly the same subject that entered the store and committed the robbery.

Police Seek Three People for Incident at High End Liquor 

On December 14, 2013, at approximately 4:45 PM, three people (two black males, one black female) came into High End Liquor at 2038 Laurens Road.  One of the male subjects concealed a bottle of Henessy Congae (value $76.99) in his pants. The other male concealed a bottle of Grey Goose (value $69.45) in his pants. The female distracted the employee as the two male suspects concealed the items. Anyone who recognizes these individuals is asked to contact Greenville Police.

Police Seek Woman for Credit Card Theft and Fraud 

Police are seeking a woman (photos below) for questioning related to the theft of two credit cards and a debit card from another woman's purse. One credit card was used two times on Nov. 20, at Best Buy and then at Journeys in the Haywood Mall. The second set of photos shows the same woman in the company of another women. These photos were taken at the Westgate Mall in Spartanburg, and all both women are wanted for financial transaction card theft and fraud.

Two Men Sought in Connection with Armed Robbery at Cleveland Park 

Greenville Police are looking for information about two men involved in an armed robbery at Cleveland Park, reported at 1:50 am Nov. 14. The victim told police he went to Cleveland Park after it was closed to meet a woman he met online. He was then robbed at gunpoint by two men, one white and one black. The woman left with the suspects. Police remind the public that city parks are closed from 9 pm to 5 am.  Police also suggest that it is best to meet people you do not know in a busy public location.

Man Sought in Connection with 2012 Citgo Burglaries 

Police have released photos of a suspect who burglarized the Citgo at 550 Wade Hampton Blvd. on three separate occasions. He committed the burglaries on 10/03/2012, 10/13/2012, and 11/20/2012. Each time he stole several boxes of cigarettes and unknown amounts of money left in the store.

Man Sought in Connection with Armed Robbery on Mills Avenue 

Police are looking for a black man who, at 11:45 am Friday, Oct. 11, approached an elderly woman leaving a business at 331 Mills Avenue. The man demanded money, and then entered her car and ordered her to drive to Wells Fargo Bank to withdraw $500 from her account. The man then had the woman drop him off at Tindal Park in Greenville. Armed Robbery at Laurens Road Business 

Armed Robbery SuspectOn 10/07/2013, at approximately 5:10 PM, there was an armed robbery at Direct Auto Insurance, 2102 Laurens Road. A black male entered the business with a handgun and demanded money. Once he received the money, he fled the business on foot. The suspect is described as a black male, about 40 to 55 years old. He was wearing a white and blue plaid shirt, blue jeans and had a ski mask over his face at some point during the robbery.
