Arrests Made in Falls Park Robbery

On September 26, 2013, Greenville Police received a Crimestoppers tip about people possibly involved in the Falls Park Robbery that occurred on Aug. 2, 2013, when a man riding his bicycle on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Falls Park was attacked by several people. The suspects were interviewed separately and detectives were able to determine that they were involved in the robbery. Six arrests have so far been made in this case. Those arrested are from 15 to 19 years of age. All of them have been charged with Strong Armed Robbery, and Assault/Battery First Degree. One of the subjects was also given an additional charge of Possession of a Weapon During a Violent Crime, because he a BB gun in his possession.
