Person Wanted in Attempted Murder Charge

Photo of Javon MackOn February 21, 2013, The U. S. Marshal’s task force located a vehicle in the Augusta Street area of Greenville. There were two people in the vehicle that were wanted for attempted murder by The Greenville Police Department; Michael Lee and Javon Mack. The vehicle was stopped, and several people took off running, however Michael Lee was detained and arrested for his active warrants. The Greenville Police Department, Greenville County Sheriff’s Office, and SC Highway Patrol assisted The U. S. Marshal’s task force in organizing a search for the rest of the suspects, which included Javon Mack. Earlier this morning, Javon Mack along with an unidentified black male stole a vehicle on Augusta Street. Both of these individuals are considered to be armed and dangerous; we urge anyone with information on their location to please contact The Greenville Police Department Tip Line at 864-271-GCPD (4273) or Greenville Crime Stoppers at 864-23-CRIME.
