12/10/2006 INSTRUCTIONS: To determine which image size you need for your desktop, first minimize all open windows to get back to your desktop. Then right-click on your desktop. When the menu appears choose "properties". From the Display Properties Menu click on the Settings Tab at the top right of the menu. On the Settings menu you can see (and adjust if you wish) your monitor's Screen Resolution. You will want to choose an image which matches your screen resolution. Clicking on a thumbnail will open the high resolution image you can use as a background for your desktop. These images are large files and can take several minutes to open on a slow internet connection. Once the image is open, right-click on the image and a small menu will appear. Scroll down the menu and choose "set as background". The image will now appear on your desktop background. |
