Location
The Central Business District (CBD) is located within Zone 1 and has its own dedicated lieutenant and officers to focus on Greenville’s growing downtown.
Officers
There are currently 14 officers assigned specifically to the CBD, and additional coverage is provided by Zone 1 officers.
Priorities
With a continued focus on officer presence within the Central Business District, priorities include using resources such as bicycles and electric motorcycles to enhance officer mobility in congested areas; patrolling the Swamp Rabbit Trail and working with residents and businesses to address issues related to the transient population in the area.
