Loans and Tax Credits

The City of Greenville provides assistance to developers through a variety of programs. The Commercial Corridors Façade Improvement Program provides financial and technical design assistance to commercial property owners and business owners in targeted commercial corridors for qualified facade improvements.

The City assists small businesses through referrals to loan programs and as a liaison to other local agencies such as the Clemson Small Business Development Center. Research and statistical data for business plans and information on incentives are also available.

Tax incentives are available for real estate development including historic properties and brownfield sites.
