Hello dreamers, doers and makers,

We have so much to be grateful for here in Greenville. Our city showed up to support founders during Global Entrepreneurship Week; we received national attention from the TODAY Show, Forbes and The Washington Post; and as we head into the holiday season, we are eager to showcase our merchants during our annual Shop Downtown campaign.

Women's Basketball Returns

Slam Dunk! The SEC Commissioner visited Greenville to announce Bon Secours Wellness Arena as the home of their Women’s Basketball Tournament through 2026.

“To walk around, to go for a run and see the growth and then to feel the excitement in our tournament when we've been here, that's combined to create this feel,” says Greg Sankey, SEC Commissioner. “And I think a relationship has brought us back.”

The Washington Post reported on Greenville’s tribute to Eugenia Duke, creator of Duke’s Mayonnaise, by making and donating 10,000 sandwiches in one day to organizations that feed the hungry.

Upscale Magazine named the Grand Bohemian Lodge of the top 21 resorts in the world for 2023 excursions. They said the lodge is the place to stay if you desire romance, beautiful art, and a tranquil atmosphere.

The TODAY Show ranked Greenville among the 25 Best Christmas Towns in the U.S. for a winter getaway. They point to our tree lined streets, ice rink and tree lighting ceremony.

We made Forbes list of Best Christmas Destinations around the South. Forbes says "every holiday season Greenville transforms into a Hallmark movie, as the tree-lined sidewalks twinkle with lights and Santa's motorized sleigh."
