What is Volunteer News?

Volunteer News is a newsletter that will be sent out each month with updates and information regarding volunteer opportunities with City of Greenville Special Events. It will also highlight our wonderful community of volunteers and show you #whatsgoingonGVL. 

We're looking for Volunteers!

Event season is starting up for the City of Greenville and we can't wait to start another event season with you all. Volunteer opportunities are needed for the following events:

Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive 
Thursdays, March 16 through August 31st from 5:30-8:30 in NOMA Square

Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays 
Fridays, March 17th through September 29th from 5:30-9:30 in NOMA Square

iMAGINE Upstate Festival fueled by ScanSource 
Saturday, April 1st from 11:00-5:00 in Downtown Greenville

Positions for Downtown Alive and Main Street Fridays include: beer and wine servers, Pepsi servers, ticket and wristband sellers and helpers.

Positions for iMAGINE Upstate include: exhibitor assistants, field floaters, info booth concierge, runners, and stage assistants.

City of Greenville Special Event Volunteers must be 10 years of age or older to volunteer. 10-13 year olds must volunteer with a parent or guardian.
