Visit the City's website to view shift times and to sign up.

Weekly Events

Volunteers are needed every week at Piedmont Natural Gas Downtown Alive and Greenville Heritage Main Street Fridays. Non-profit organizations or corporate groups can apply to volunteer, and in turn, collect tip money as a donation to their organization or an organization of their choice.

We would like to thank the following groups that helped in April:

  • Upstate Singles on behalf of Piedmont Emergency Relief Center
  • General Electric Leaders of Tomorrow on behalf of Meals on Wheels of Greenville County
  • Alexander Elementary School
  • Red Shoe Society on behalf of Ronald McDonald House of the Carolinas
  • United Way
  • The Salvation Army

In total, these groups raised $1650 for their organizations.

If you're interested in having your group volunteer at our weekly events, email Cassidy Rogers at crogers@greenvillesc.gov.

Cynthia Chance

Each month throughout the event season we will feature one volunteer that has shown exceptional volunteerism. We would like to recognize Cynthia Chance for all her work in the month of April.

Cynthia can be found at most of the City's events helping serve beer to patrons. Cynthia shared, "I love helping others and when I volunteer I meet a lot of people and make new friends."
