Volunteer News banner image: Volunteers are the heart of Greenville
Four photos of volunteers and graphic text that says Thank You!

Thank you for volunteering at Artisphere!

Artisphere was a resounding success, and we couldn't have done it without you. The event had 500 volunteers who committed over 2500 hours. Volunteers play a pivotal role in making our events run smoothly and our guests have an enjoyable experience. We hope to see you all volunteering again at our events to come!

Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue

Come out and celebrate July 4 with us at the 2018 Wells Fargo Red, White, and Blue! This year is sure to bring the fun as we have a new location for the event! Volunteering gets you a free t-shirt and a personal view of the bands playing throughout the day and the fireworks show at the end of the night!

Volunteer positions and shifts are available throughout the day for volunteers of all ages!

Visit the City's website to view shift times and to sign up.

Hu Wang

Each month throughout the event season we will feature one volunteer that has shown exceptional volunteerism. We would like to recognize Hu Wang for all his work in the month of May.

Hu is always willing to volunteer and lend a helping hand! Hu shared,

"I originally came from Beijing China, but my wife and I have been in Greenville for 17 years, so the upstate area is where we call home. I have fun volunteering downtown on Fridays because it gives me a sense of vibrant city life. I enjoy talking to people from all walks of life and getting to know the long-time volunteers."
